Lisa, a born New Yorker, moved to the mid-West for college and ended up spending 15 years in California before returning East to Vermont. After five years of dairy farming to support her art practice, she gave up and went to grad school. She has maintained a studio for 25 years working mostly in dry media on paper. For the past eight years she has also taught in the School of Arch+Art at Norwich University.
