“The Vermont Paintings” will be Celia Reisman’s second solo show with the gallery, though she has been part of numerous group exhibitions over the years. Her work features intricate landscapes and neighborhood views, all imbued with a warm and vibrant color palette. There is a juxtaposition present in her work between the complexity of the architectural structures and the softness of the natural forms that pays homage to early American modernists who abstracted the landscape. Reisman currently lives in both Pennsylvania and Strafford, VT.
